Every one of these is bought on the second evening. The cable in the box reached the tailgate on the vehicle it was designed for and not on yours. The monitor flickers in time with the indicator. The 12V socket has no switch and the screen wakes whenever the ignition does. None of it is a fault in the system, and none of it needs a new system to fix.

Order once by doing two things. Measure the actual route, sill to A-pillar to hinge with a foot of slack at each end, rather than the length of the vehicle, and read the system code off the back of the monitor, because the video connectors differ between systems. If the picture rolls or shows bands with the engine running, that is alternator noise on the power line and the filter is the part for it.

Questions people ask

What buyers ask about the LeeKooLuu backup camera cable

What length LeeKooLuu cable do you need?

33 feet covers a car and most SUVs, and 50 is the one for a long van, a pickup or a rig. Measure the route, not the vehicle: the usual underestimate is about a third.

Do LeeKooLuu cables fit every system?

No. The LK3 and LK13 connectors differ, and each cable on this page says which system it is cut for. The code is on the back of your monitor.

Why does your LeeKooLuu monitor flicker with the engine running?

That flicker keeps time with the alternator, and it means the 12V feed is dirty rather than that the camera has failed. The filter on this page sits between the feed and the camera and costs twelve dollars to find out.
