One camera answers one question: what is directly behind me. A second answers the one that causes most of the damage: what is along the side you cannot see. On a van that is the curb side. On a fifth wheel it is the coupling while somebody stands beside it, and on a box truck it is both. The monitors here take two cameras and put them on the screen together, and the largest supports four.
Two things to plan before ordering. Power for the second camera has to come from somewhere at that end of the vehicle, and if you want the side view while driving rather than only in reverse, that feed cannot be the reversing light. And screen size is not optional here: split screen on a small monitor is two pictures nobody reads, and every kit on this page is seven inches for that reason.
Questions people ask
What buyers ask about the LeeKooLuu dual camera system
How many cameras can you put on one LeeKooLuu monitor?
The split-screen models take two and show them together. The largest system in the range supports up to four, which is what people use on a fifth wheel with side cameras.
Can you watch a LeeKooLuu side camera while driving?
Yes, if the camera is powered from a live feed rather than from the reversing light. Wired to the reversing light, it only wakes when you select reverse.
Do your two LeeKooLuu cameras have to be the same?
They have to belong to the same system. Within it, the plate camera and the higher-mounted RV camera are different shapes for different jobs and can be mixed.
