Seven inches is not about luxury, it is about distance from your eye. In a truck cab or a motorhome the dash is far enough away that a 4.3-inch picture becomes a postage stamp with a gray blur in the middle, and that is exactly when you need to tell a curb from a shadow. The trade is the windshield: a seven-inch monitor takes a corner of it, and on a small car that corner is where you look for cyclists.
The other thing a bigger screen buys is a second camera. Split screen on a small monitor is two pictures nobody can read. On seven inches it is genuinely usable, and that is why the towing kits and the dual-camera system all sit at this size. Mount it low and to the right if you can, and check the view from the driving position before the adhesive sets.

Questions people ask
What buyers ask about the LeeKooLuu 7 inch backup camera
Is a 7-inch LeeKooLuu monitor too big for a car?
On a compact car it can be. Sit in the seat and hold something the size of the screen where you plan to stick it: if it covers any part of the road you use, take the 4.3-inch kit instead.
Can you see two cameras at once on a 7-inch LeeKooLuu monitor?
The split-screen models do, and that is the main reason to buy this size. Both pictures stay readable at seven inches in a way they do not at four.
What resolution will you get on a 7-inch LeeKooLuu monitor?
1080p across the range, with one 2K kit. The higher resolution shows its worth on a wet night rather than in a dry car park.
