LeeKooLuu RV backup camera

Distance is the first thing to settle and it is measured along the rig, not on the map: transmitter at the back wall, receiver at the windshield, and whatever is between them. Every kit here lists its own range, and the figure is an open-air one. Inside a rig the crossing includes an aluminum skin, a refrigerator and a bathroom wall, so take the number as a ceiling rather than a promise, and give the receiver line of sight where you can.

The second question is the bracket. If your camper left the factory with a Furrion plate above the rear window, the camera made for it drops on and takes the power that is already there: no drilling, no run to the tail lights. If it did not, the camera mounts high on the back wall and takes power from the running lights, which is the wiring most owners choose because it gives a picture while towing rather than only in reverse.
