A 2K picture is not a specification for its own sake. It shows up on a wet night, when a 1080p camera turns a curb into a gray smear and a 2K one still shows you the edge. The LK14 is the sharpest camera in this catalog, wired to a seven-inch monitor, and it was put together for trucks that reverse onto gravel and job sites rather than into a garage.
The picture reaches the front down a cable, so weather and a busy 2.4 GHz band cost it nothing. The camera case is rated IP69K, which is the high-pressure wash-down test rather than a promise about rain, and infrared LEDs carry it after dark. Fitting is the usual two wires at the reversing light and a run along the sill, and on a body-on-frame truck that run is the part worth measuring twice.

A camera shows you what is behind the vehicle. It does not stop the vehicle, it does not watch for you, and it cannot see what is not in the picture: a child crouched against the bumper, a bollard below the lens, a cyclist arriving from the side. Federal rear-visibility rules exist because reversing kills and injures people every year, and the bodies that write those rules ask drivers to look, to walk around the vehicle and to reverse slowly whatever is fitted. Nothing on this site is a substitute for any of that.
