Five inches, and that is the point. A seven-inch monitor takes a corner of the windshield, and in a compact cab that corner is where you look for cyclists. The LK2 puts the same 1080p picture on a screen small enough to sit low on the dash, and it runs off a USB port rather than the lighter socket, which is one fewer thing to find in a cabin already carrying a phone charger.
The camera goes in the license plate frame and takes power from the reversing light, so the monitor wakes when you select reverse and sleeps again after. The link is 2.4 GHz, which is what saves you the run through the cabin. Infrared night vision keeps the picture there after dark, and the housing is rated IP69. On a long vehicle the radio has more steel to cross than it does here, and the RV shelf is where that job belongs.

A camera shows you what is behind the vehicle. It does not stop the vehicle, it does not watch for you, and it cannot see what is not in the picture: a child crouched against the bumper, a bollard below the lens, a cyclist arriving from the side. Federal rear-visibility rules exist because reversing kills and injures people every year, and the bodies that write those rules ask drivers to look, to walk around the vehicle and to reverse slowly whatever is fitted. Nothing on this site is a substitute for any of that.
