The LK7 is the RV kit most people start with. It carries the same seven-inch monitor as the larger system and the same wireless pair, with the link listed at 900 feet in the open, and it takes a second camera later if the curb side turns out to be the side you keep clipping. Split screen is built in, so adding that camera does not mean adding a screen.
What separates it from the kit above is where the power comes from. This monitor runs off the 12V socket rather than the reversing light, so the picture stays up while you are towing rather than appearing only when you select reverse. The camera has infrared LEDs for the dark and an IP69K case for the weather. On a rig the camera mounts high on the rear wall, which is a ladder job and a sealant job, and it is the mount that shows you the coupling.

A camera shows you what is behind the vehicle. It does not stop the vehicle, it does not watch for you, and it cannot see what is not in the picture: a child crouched against the bumper, a bollard below the lens, a cyclist arriving from the side. Federal rear-visibility rules exist because reversing kills and injures people every year, and the bodies that write those rules ask drivers to look, to walk around the vehicle and to reverse slowly whatever is fitted. Nothing on this site is a substitute for any of that.
